Irish Aires is the oldest all Irish/Celtic radio program locally produced in the great State of Texas. The brainchild of Pat & Mary Patton, the very  first show was broadcast by Mary on St. Patrick’s Day, 1982 on Houston’s KPFT-FM.  It is still transmitted in Houston at KPFT-FM (90.1 FM) and at various affiliate stations in Texas,  every Saturday night between 6-7 PM (Central U.S. time or starting at midnight Irish time). The show is also available online at KPFT.org, and can be found at the KPFT.org Archives for a short time after broadcast. Join us a for a wide variety of Celtic music and current events in the Houston area Celtic scene. Your hosts are Pete Little, Emily Standish and Bill Galbraith, with Top Volunteer Peg Pywar.

To report Houston-area events that would be of interest to our listeners and readers of this webpage, please email Bill Galbraith at bill9972@comcast.net or Pete Little at petelittle@comcast.net.  And thanks for listening!
